Remedies for nausea.. all natural!

Bloating, gastric reflux or contractions of the stomach ... Nausea can manifest itself in different ways, but is always very uncomfortable for those who suffer from it. However, there are simple and natural tips to relieve them.

THE GINGER RELIEVES THE NAUSEA
Recognized by the French National Authority for Health (HAS) as effective against nausea, ginger is worth testing against nausea during pregnancy. Choice: in food, in the form of fresh ginger, candied, powder; or in essential oil, "2 to 3 times a day, take 1 drop of ginger essential oil (Zingiber officinalis) in a little honey or a neutral tablet," advises Nathalie Grosrey-Lajonc.

In root tea: peel and grate 2 cm of fresh ginger root in a bowl. Pour simmering water, leave to infuse for 5 minutes, covered. Filter then add the juice of half a lemon and honey (according to taste). Put in a Thermos and drink regularly during the day.

As a food supplement: at a rate of 1 g per day maximum (ask your pharmacist for advice).

ACUPRESSION IN PREVENTION
In acupuncture, there is a specific “anti-nausea” point: point P6 (or point Neiguan). It is located on the inside of the forearm, two and a half inch widths above the wrist, between the tendons. As soon as you feel the nausea coming, press firmly with your thumb on this point.

HERBAL TEA HELPS HOLD
The miracle product against nausea of ​​pregnancy does not exist, but "several plants can help to improve the situation", explains the herbalist Nathalie Grosrey-Lajonc. Let us quote the lemon balm and the thyme, associated in this infusion proposed by the specialist.

Recipe :
• Prepare or have prepared in equal parts a mixture of lemon balm (leaves) and wild thyme (flowering tops).
• Put 1 teaspoon of this mixture in 1 cup of water (20 cl), let steep for 5 minutes.
• Filter and drink 2 to 3 cups a day.

LEMON IN ALL ITS FORMS
Lemon would also be effective for some moms. Try it, you never know! As soon as nausea appears, smell a lemon cut or a handkerchief soaked with 2 drops of essential oil. Another solution: in the morning, on an empty stomach, take a lemon juice with a skin of water, and during the day, quench your thirst with water (still or sparkling) with a few quarters of organic lemon
